Learn about what it takes to be a real-world designer, meet industry professionals and other teens with similar interests! And, you’ll have the opportunity to earn a $200 stipend for your work.

Students are expected to complete all projects in order to earn a stipend.

The Design Apprenticeship is held in-person at the Kahlert Youth Media Arts Center, however, if you are interested in this class and need a remote/online option, please reach out to Liz Schulte, Design Mentor to explore options for online participation.

  • Learn 3D software and build objects in 3D space: 3D printing
  • Work with clients to design and make the Spy Hop studio acoustically and artistically a “sound” space.
