DESCRIPTION:Flu & COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic\nSalt Lake County Health Department is hosting a Vaccine Clinic at Spy Hop for the community. \nNo appointment needed—just show up! The clinic will be hosted on the Spy Hop Soundstage. The entrance to the soundstage is located on the northwest side of the building\, underneath the covered parking area. Enter through the open garage door. Lost? Just follow the signs! \nWe recommend using the free 2-hour street parking just South of the Spy Hop building\, or taking public transit.   \nPlease bring a copy of your insurance card(s) if you are insured. Verify coverage/costs prior to receiving vaccines.\nVaccine and Fee Information: \nFlu Vaccine: \n\n\nClients with qualifying insurance/Medicaid/Chip (see list of accepted plans attached) will have their insurance billed.    \n\n\nUninsured clients will receive flu vaccines at no cost\, subject to availability and while supplies last this season.   \n\n\nClients with non-contracted insurance and/or pharmacy prescription cards should see their providers for their shots. If someone provides us with an insurance plan that we are unable to bill or will not cover the vaccines\, the client will be billed for the cost of the vaccines. \n\n\nCOVID-19 Vaccine: \nCOVID-19 Vaccine Availability \n\n\nWe will have COVID-19 vaccines for people 6 months and older. A prescription will NOT be necessary\, nor an attestation for underlying health conditions. \n\n\nPeople under 65 years old must sign an acknowledgement that they have discussed the risks and benefits with the immunization nurse and they are choosing to be vaccinated under shared clinical decision making. \n\n\nWe will bill our accepted health insurance plans\, but clients should contact their specific plan to confirm the plan will cover the cost of the vaccine. Clients will be responsible for paying claims denied by your insurance plan. \n\n\nWe do not currently have low-cost COVID vaccine available for uninsured clients.

DESCRIPTION:We’re hosting an Open Mic night at Legendarium! This event is free and open to everyone—and will feature performances from teens ages 15-19. Support local artists\, enjoy a warm drink or treat from the Legendarium’s shop\, and be a part of Salt Lake’s vibrant creative community. We plan to hold this event outside (weather permitting)\, so dress warm and cozy! \nWant to perform at Open Mic?\nAnyone between the ages of 15 and 19 can sign up to perform. Sign-ups open at 4:45pm\, and performances start at 5pm. Perform music\, poetry\, spoken word\, and more! We will have an acoustic guitar available for you to borrow if needed. All performances must be respectful and adhere to Spy Hop’s code of conduct. \nAbout Legendarium + how to get there\nLegendarium is a locally-owned queer sci-fi and horror bookshop. We’re proud to collaborate with them for this event! Legendarium is less than 10 minutes away from Spy Hop by bus or car\, or 20 minutes away on foot (who doesn’t love a walk in the crisp autumn air?)
