Write and Perform your Original Songs
Historically, the term “woodshedding” was a term used by jazz musicians to describe time spent alone honing musical skills.
In this program, you will focus intensely on the individual songwriting process to create songs that utilize the concepts like writing in key, arranging, melody, dynamics, lyric writing, and finishing compositions.
This class will invite collaboration as well as allow for individual work time. All levels are welcome, but this will be an intensive workshop in the songwriting process, so a deep interest in creating original music is required.
