Lisa Joseph Metelus works at the intersection of sports, business, and creativity. As a Sports Marketing Agent at CAA Sports, part of Creative Artists Agency, she helps basketball players build brands, launch businesses, and turn ideas into real opportunities beyond the court.
Lisa’s role shows how careers in sports are not limited to playing. Her work includes brand strategy, media projects, partnerships, and philanthropy, helping athletes grow long-term careers and personal ventures. She collaborates across film, television, marketing, and nonprofit teams to bring creative ideas to life.
Before joining CAA, Lisa built her career in nonprofit leadership, managing fundraising, partnerships, and program development for youth-focused organizations in Miami. That experience taught her how to build relationships, pitch ideas, and create sustainable programs.
Born in New York City and raised in Miami, Lisa studied communication in college. She believes entrepreneurship is about creativity, strategy, and using your skills to build something that lasts.
