My name is Hunter Okerlund, and I’ve lived in Utah for most of my life. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Product Design and Development from Utah State University, and I’m currently pursuing an MBA in Project Management from Southern Utah University.
During my senior year at Utah State, I interned with Under Armour in Baltimore on the Outdoor/Outerwear Design Team. It was there that I taught myself how to use a new 3D apparel software, CLO 3D. I completed my internship project in 3D, which caught the attention of leadership at Under Armour, who were looking for a solution for physical sampling during the pandemic. As a result, I was invited to join the 3D team, and I’ve been with the company for nearly five years. During my time at Under Armour, I’ve worked on projects for Project Rock, Curry Brand, and even designed outfits for athletes featured in the 2K Sports video games.A few fun facts about me: my family has a small herd of llamas that we use for backpacking, and I’m currently working on a startup called SoleGripz.
