Created in 2009, Spy Hop Records was a music promotion class that booked, recorded, and promoted five musical acts in the first year. Each artist recorded a short album and performed in local music venues. Artists in the inaugural year of Spy Hop Records were:
Sam Burton, Orion Chacon-Hurst, Heterodactyl, Malevolent MC, and U-N-I-Verse-All & Roe.
