SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION OPENS 3/18 AT 9AM
half-day summer camp
In this dynamic camp, students will dive into the world of comics and animation, learning the foundational skills needed to bring their stories to life!
Using both traditional methods (pen and paper) and digital tools (Procreate), students will create a two-page superhero origin story featuring themselves as the hero. Throughout the week, campers will explore various animation techniques, from thaumatropes (don’t know what that is? You will soon!) and flipbooks to digital animation. They’ll also learn how to storyboard, create animated gifs, and combine sound with animation to enhance their creations. By the end of the camp, each student will have a unique blend of comic art and animation to showcase their creativity and storytelling skills!
