Dear Spy Hop Friends,
During these tumultuous times, our students, our community and our families are all on our minds. With that, we are sticking with the plan to keep our downtown Spy Hop studios closed for the time being. Our statewide and community based programs are still suspended until further notice. We are following the guidelines and instructions from our local officials and are doing everything we can to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. However, we know the need for our students to find ways to connect, be engaged, and make art during this time of social solidarity is needed more than ever.
We are inspired by everyone who is using this time of uncertainty to be creative and find meaning through art. We have successfully innovated and found many new ways to keep young people connected, learning and creating while social distancing. We are offering live streaming workshops, on-demand video tutorials and a weekly beat challenge for electronic musicians of all levels.
