Whether you are a music lover or a music maker, we have classes that will take your skills and passion to the next level.

From drop in sessions every Friday to yearlong intensive programs, you can use our professional recording studio to record your latest inspiration or produce other young talent for our label, Spy Hop Records.

SONGWRITING

We offer songwriting classes for 10-12 year olds as part of our SPARK program, and in the summer for ages 13 – 16.

MUSICOLOGY
If you have ever wanted to be in a band, but didn’t know how to get started, MUSICOLOGY is for you.  Learn to write, record and produce original music with a class full of like minded indie teens.  Finish the year off with a CD release party at a local venue.  Ages 14 -19

SPY HOP RECORDS
Work with other indie music lovers in Utah to discover, record, produce and promote the next big thing.  If you are a music lover, this is your dream gig…  Ages 15 – 19

OPEN MIC
One of Spy Hop’s first audio programs, Open Mic is unique in Salt Lake City. Teens can drop by every Friday night from 3 – 7pm and sign up for free studio time to record their own song. Audio apprentices run the show – recording and mixing the songs.  Ages 13 – 19
