Our local musicians need support getting their music out of the garage and into the community. Join the 801 Sessions team and do your part to support and promote the local youth music scene as you navigate how to put on shows and document live performances. In this class, you will learn how to book local youth bands, make music videos, host live concerts, and create promotional posters and digital ads for real live shows! Earn a $200 stipend for your work. Students are expected to complete all projects in order to earn a stipend.

Interview session:
This class requires an Interview Session with the teaching mentor prior to being accepted into the class. The Interview Session is simply a way for the mentor and student to get to know each other and to assess interests, skill level, and set expectations for the program. Prospective students will be notified prior to the start of class of their acceptance into the program. The teaching mentor for the Music Promotion Apprenticeship will contact prospective students directly 2 – 3 weeks before class begins, to schedule interviews for the Spring 2024 Music Promotion Apprenticeships.
