Join a band, write songs, and make a record in this 10-month intensive workshop. We’re looking for young musicians and singers with foundational music experience, who want to join a real-life band, writing songs and performing those songs in live concerts around the Salt Lake Valley. Perfect your songwriting craft while collaborating with a group of your peers, and then commit your songs to a mixed and mastered recording for the world to hear. Show off your skills and make friends on the journey together!

Audition:
This class requires an audition with the teaching mentor prior to being accepted into the class. The audition is simply a way for the mentor and student to get to know each other and to assess interests, skill level, and set expectations for the program. Prospective students will be notified prior to the start of class of their acceptance into the program. The teaching mentor for Musicology will contact prospective students directly within 2 weeks of receiving registration form to schedule an audition.
