Spy Hop is a nonprofit digital media arts center offering free classes in film, music, audio, and design for students ages 12-19.
We provide classes at our center in Salt Lake City, as well as satellite locations and schools across Utah.
Our campus is open to all teens. The Spy Hop Rooftop event space is available to rent for all types of events.
We rely on donations to keep our doors open and our classes tuition-free. Learn how you can support Spy Hop!
Enjoy the video game launch of Dig, Shovel, Go, created by Power Up! Students, plus a gallery of 2D and 3D artwork created by Spy Hop students during the Pixel Gallery!
Pixel Gallery is August 1st from 6 – 8pm at the Urban Arts Gallery.
This event is free and open to the general public (all ages welcome)!
Spy Hop alumni have made their voices loud and clear: they envision a brighter future for Utah’s youth. Do you?

Check out the most recent teen short films coming out of Salt Lake City! These films are from Reel Stories, our longest-running film program. These films are so good, and are even more impressive when you realize that they were written, filmed and edited in only three weeks! Learn more about the films and filmmakers here »
These films are from Spy Hop’s four-month experimental, episodic filmmaking program, Watch This! Our Park, Unbearable, Infinitesimal, In Retrospect, and Recycle America explore the themes of growing up, recycling, being a teen, and how our choices change the world around us.
Spy Hop would like to acknowledge the generous public support we receive.
