The Film Production Certification Program, sponsored by the Utah Film Commission, offers young adults hands-on training for entry-level jobs on professional film sets. In just five days, you’ll earn two industry-recognized certifications and the skills you need to land your first job in film.
With over $160 million spent on film and television productions in Utah every year, opportunities are expanding in Blanding and surrounding areas to work on large scale productions. This bootcamp will open up a path into the industry.
What You’ll Learn
This bootcamp will give you real-world, set-ready experience focused on “below the line” crew roles–the behind-the-scenes jobs that power every production.
By the end of the week, you’ll:
- Earn your Production Assistant (PA) Certification
- Choose a specialty and get certified in either Lighting (Grip & Electric) or Camera
- Build an online resume
- Understand how to find and get hired on real productions
- Connect with a community of local filmmakers
