Utah’s only weekly, youth-produced radio show, Loud & Clear Youth Radio, is looking for a new crew! If you’re passionate about radio, music, and social issues, we want you! Host your own radio show, play the music you want to hear, and talk about the issues that are important to you every Saturday night on 90.9 FM KRCL. Become a “Loudie” and learn everything you need to be a fantastic teen DJ! Be the mouthpiece for Salt Lake City’s youth!
Radio Production Mentor
Lou Ruegner is the Radio Production Mentor for Loud and Clear. Before working with Spy Hop, they were the technical manager of K-Ute Radio, where they oversaw the station’s operation and trained student hosts to facilitate radio programming. In addition, they’ve operated live sound and recording systems and run stages at many venues around the valley, including Kilby Court, The Beehive, Abravanel Hall, and Rose Wagner.
Lou holds a bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies and Music Technology from the University of Utah. In their spare time, they enjoy walking their dog and writing music with their partner.
