Since 1999, Spy Hop has mentored Utah’s young people in the digital media arts as a vehicle for free expression, self-discovery, critical thinking, and skilled participation. Our afterschool and community programs in film, audio, design, and music production are a model for youth development programs across the nation! Spy Hop is recognized by the White House as a leading nonprofit arts and humanities organization.

FILM MENTOR

We’re seeking a Film Mentor! This position is responsible for teaching Spy Hop’s video-based programs, including our 13-month film program: PitchNic (narrative films), our 4-month long Film Apprenticeships, various short Foundational Classes, Summer Camps and Spy Hop’s community based programs. If you love filmmaking, teaching, and want to mentor the next generation of creatives, this position might be the perfect fit for you!


COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

We’re seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to support the work of the Central 9th Youth Coalition by engaging community members and youth in the coalition’s initiatives. This position is responsible for guiding the Outreach & Public Relations Workgroup and facilitating the Youth Council program for teens from Glendale Middle and East High Schools.
