About this class

Want to get into filmmaking but don’t know where to start? Start your filmmaking journey in this four-week class: learn the basics of cameras, lighting, creating film stills, making shot lists, editing, and more!

WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS CLASS

  • learn camera and cinematography basics
  • learn how to use set lighting
  • become familiar with set protocol, crew roles, and shot lists
  • gain photography skills
  • learn editing software, like Adobe Suite programs

DAILY SCHEDULE

  • 12 – 1 PM || Arrive, hangout, have lunch with your fellow classmates (bring your own)
  • 1 – 3 PM || In-class time
  • 3 – 4 PM || Hangout, creative project wrap-up, pick up

After registering, you will receive communication from your mentor to confirm your enrollment. Please be sure to respond to the request to connect with your mentor prior to class.

Note: Capacity for Foundational classes is capped at 10* – if we are unable to confirm your enrollment, your seat may be given to another student.
