Learn how to rock in a band! This class focuses on collaborating with other musicians, lyric-writing, performing, and creating original music in a group. Plus, you’ll end the course with a live performance in front of an audience.
Basic ability to play an instrument is required.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS CLASS
- learn how to write original music in a group setting
- practice and rehearse
- learn chord progressions and song structure
- form a band identity with other students
- record demos
- perform!
DAILY SCHEDULE
- 12 – 1 PM* || Arrive, hangout, have lunch (bring your own)*
- 1 – 3 PM || In-class time
- 3 – 4 PM* || Hangout, creative project wrap-up*
