WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS CLASS:
- learn photography skills
- document live concerts
- interview musicians
- learn to use recording equipment, like microphones
- edit interview clips in audio editing software
- contribute to a youth-created community music zine! (zines can be fully analog or built with digital tools like Illustrator)
Note: this class requires an interview with a mentor! This is just to learn more about your skill level, interests and set some expectations for the program — plus a chance to ask questions if you have any. We’ll share your acceptance news before class kicks off!
